Sufi’s perform Zikr (recitation of the name of Allah) at a house in Hargeisa, the capital of the Self Declared Independent country of Somaliland. Sufism, the mystical branch of mainstream Islam, is active in Somaliland and is a counter balance to the spread of Wa’habism form Saudi Arabia which has gained a foothold in many of the mosques.
